Everyone in this world have an idol in their life.idol is someone that you admire so much, maybe a singer,an actor, a football player, model or etc. For me Mr.Ajith kumar has been my idol since I was 8 years old.Ajith Kumar is one of the very few actors who is appreciated for both his looks and his on-screen performances. In fact, he is also called the 'George Clooney of Kollywood', courtesy his good looks. Actress Khushbu has never missed a chance to talk about Ajith's good looks and in fact, it was her idea to call him George Clooney.

Born in Hyderabad, Ajith was called an 'outsider' when he stepped foot in Kollywood and had to face a lot of issues before he could gain a strong foothold in the Tamil film industry. He tasted success when Aasai became a huge hit. Following Aasai, he established himself as a hero with films like Ullasam, Kadhal Mannan, Vaali, Amarkalam and Kadhal Kondein.

It was AR Murugadoss's Dheena that made him the 'mass hero' and helped him get the epithet 'Thala'. If his on-screen persona is captivating enough, his off-screen personality is something that is extremely intriguing to people.

Ajith is a very private person and doesn't usually let out any information about his personal life. It has been over eight years since Thala attended any public gatherings or press meets.

In 2010, Ajith and a lot of film personalities were forced to attend the felicitation ceremony of ex-CM Karunanidhi. The actor, who never fails to call a spade a spade, took to the stage and stated that he and his cadres should not force actors to attend such political functions. During Ajith's speech, Rajinikanth gave him a standing ovation.

That was probably the last time when Ajith was seen on such a huge stage. However, fellow actors, film personalities and socialites have only good things to say about his off-screen persona.

HUMBLENESS

He is probably the first star to disband his fan clubs and ask his fans to treat cinema as entertainment. Speaking about why dissolved his fan clubs, he told a daily, "This has nothing to do with the industry or the culture. This is something that I wanted to do, especially with the nexus between politics and the industry being so strong. I am aware that fans of mine come from different walks of life. And I want my fans to do well, but they need to understand that there is life beyond movies. This is entertainment; don't take it too seriously. As fans, be united and come and watch my film. I received a lot of support when I took this decision. I'm very grateful to my fans that they accepted my decision and understood why I did it. With social networking, you are free to express yourself and I will take it as constructive criticism. You don't need an organization to be a fan. If you love me, say a prayer for me."

In 2017, Ajith once again proved that stardom is nothing to him. When a journalist was trolled by Vijay's fans, he sent out a press release stating that he is not associated with anyone who abuses anyone online in his name. In the statement, he also apologised for his fans' behaviour.

In his career spanning 25 years, he achieved immense success, but his policy is to stay grounded and true to his roots. Even today, when over-enthusiastic fans throng to take pictures with him, he obliges with a smile and has never lost his cool at them.

SIMPLICITY

Ajith's simplicity is something that anyone who has met the star would speak about for hours together. Whenever his friends or guests visit his house, he makes sure he serves them food and doesn't allow them to take the plates when they're finished. Hospitality is something he values a lot and he makes sure he treats his guests well.

Even after rejoicing two decades of stardom, Ajith does not believe in getting special privileges. Be it the local body election or school admission for his kids, he always stands in the queue along with the public and speaks of himself as a human being rather than a star.

Many actors who have shared screen space with him have opined that whenever Ajith walks to the set, he is brimming with positivity. He greets everyone right from the director to the light man with the same respect. Since he loves cooking, he makes sure he cooks biryani for the entire set and serves the food to them, all by himself.

His photography skills too have been lauded by film personalities over the years. His sister-in-law Shamili's career didn't take off as anticipated and hence he decided to a photo shoot with her. While the photographs went viral, sadly, they still didn't earn her many projects. Similarly, he gave a makeover to his co-actor Appukutty who was often seen in village-based roles.

EXCLUSIVITY

Ajith stopped giving interviews citing that his words were blown out of proportion by certain sections of the media. He stopped attending film-related events and public gatherings so as not to help TRPs of channels. While people miss listening to him, his fans have gracefully accepted his stance. Even then, the craze for Ajith and the number of his films haven't seen a decline. In fact, the fan-following is only increasing with each film.
