My Dream Trip (Lapland)

Lets Go
Lapland ! Paradise of Winter

Source:Google

I guarantee that non many of you havent heard about Lapland.Lapland is not a country and not a state..it is actually more comfortable categorize as a region.Same like Tibet,Nusantara and Balkan which owned by several countries part by part.

Source:Google

Lapland consists of part by Russia,Finland,Sweden and Finland which lay on Arctic Circle but in tourism more famous part was in Finnish land and Swedish part.

If you want to go meet Santa Claus, reindeers pull your sledge transport, see Aurora or northern light right up from your bed and any other more about childhood winter fairytale so...Lapland is the real place.

Okay let me share what are the experiences that make me put Lapland as my dream trip.(Even I dont know when I could go there hoho)

Reindeer Sledding

Source:Google
Source : Google

This kind of transport already used by Sami people for a long long time ago and yeah dont worry discrimination of animal didnt occur cuz you know the snow surface seriously slippery. Thanks God for this animal's ability. This reindeer sledding you'll not see in other places in this world.Other cold places in this world they just use huskies as their sledding transport. If you lucky sometime you could have a ride with Santa Claus' sledding transport.

Aurora or Northern Light

Source:Google

Best time to see Northern Light is between mid August until early April. This wandering nature you cannot see anywhere unless in Arctic area.

Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort,Finland...AWWWW!!!I could be crazy when seeing this hotel on my phone.Damn really want to go there even at least one night, just to see Aurora while lying down on bed.For me this is the most unque hotel in the world that you could rarely see other than hotels in Mykonos,Greece and underwater hotel in Dubai. But prepare for those who cant stand against coldness, highest temperature at this time is -10 degree celcius and lowest one is -24 degree celcius so if you go there dont just rely on heater, bring your own extra sweater little bit more.

Santa Claus Village

Source:Google

Source:Google
There are more than 50 Santa Claus Villages in Lapland and yeah its free to entry.Small kids will definitely love to go there cuz the Santa Claus will give them a present each one without any payment and yeah their villages really same with Disney Movies.

Ice Fishing
Feel the adventure of Sami people fishing in Lapland.Sami people quite same like Eskimo people and Inuit people in Canada and Greenland so they are really experience in cold weather survival.

First you dig a hole like in the picture above and then good luck in your fishing. Its free to experience the activity but if you dont have the equipment, surely you can rent from local people. Its nice right ! Like bila lagi nak memancing cara orang Eskimo hehe

Ice Hotel and Ice Restaurant

Source:Google

Ice hotel? How possible? It doesnt melt?Arctic Region able to realise it.These type of restaurant usually got in Swedish land. You could ever drink your glass from ice and yeah it will not melt and what about the buildings?Yes all from real ice and their traditional art,I mean Sami people all about ice block being crafted uniquely.Do you ever want to feel this experience in your life even once? For me I'm promise to myself I will go to this place at least once in my life.

Fact:In Capadoccia,Turkey their hotels and restaurants were made naturally from cooled volcano magma and Lapland theirs one were made from ice naturally.

Thats all from me sharing bout my dream trip,Lapland. There are still more unique experiences that you could find there but enough la 5 experiences from me hehe.Like other experience you could have a bath in natural thermal water in  an ice pond. But yeah you can google it if you interested bout Lapland more.Okay Gotcha !

PERAK

Have you guys heard about Perak ? Have you'll been there ?
Well my hometown is in Ipoh, Perak and to say the truth I am actually quite grateful living in Ipoh. There are many things that can be done in Perak. Many attractive places that can be visited, of course not as many as Kuala Lumpur, but there are quite a number. Ipoh is the capital city of Perak and is situated by the Kinta River. It is a multicultural City Ipoh has many tourist destinations and it has been significantly boosted due to the efforts to conserve its British colonial-era architecture. Lets look at some attractive places that are in Perak.

1) Lost World Of Tambun
Lost world of Tambun is a water theme park and amusement park. Lost World of Tambun is run by the same people or same group that runs Sunway Lagoon, Kuala Lumpur, The Sunway Group. The park is located at the foot of some steep limestone hills, which there are plenty in Ipoh. Lost World of Tambun consists of Water Park, Amusement Park, Tiger Valley, Tin Valley, Petting Zoo and Hot Springs and Spa.

2) Pulau Pangkor
For the locals, I'm sure everybody has heard of Pangkor Island. Pangkor consists of nine islands, however only two of them are occupied or inhabited named Pulau Pangkor and Pangkor Laut. Pangkor Island is famous for the beaches situated there such as Teluk Nipah, Coral Bay and Teluk Belanda. People get attracted to go to this island because of it's white sandy beaches and clear sea. There are other sight seeing places that can be visited other than the beaches, namely The Dutch Fort, Tiger Rock, The Chinese Foo-Lin Kong temple, fishing villages and many more. however the most famous local product in Pangkor is the ikan bilis ( anchovies ) and other dried fish products that are somehow irresistible to locals.

Kellie's Castle is a castle located in Batu Gajah, Perak. It Is actually an unfinished ruined mansion built by a Scottish planter named William Kellie-Smith. History says that the castle was built as a gift for his wife or a home for his son. Today, Kellie's Castle is a popular local tourist attraction and is believed to be haunted.

4) Gua Tempurung
Gua Tempurung is cave in Gopeng, Perak. Reaching up to 3 km long, Gua Tempurung is known to be one of the longest caves in Peninsula Malaysia. Part of the cave has been developed with electrical lighting and walkways and there are a range of tours of different lengths and difficulty. Gua Tempurung is also a fine river cave as there is a river passage that runs about 1.6 km through the hill. These caves are located under the limestone hills and forms tunnels that runs from east to west. Tours such as River Adventure Tours need visitors to bring a change of clothes and shoes as they will be getting wet. Torch lights and safety helmets will also be available for rent for extra precautions and safety.

Umrah 2017 (Mekah & Madinah)

Umrah 2017
This time I go umrah with my parents which 8 days in Mekah and 8 days in Madinah.Umrah generally is a pilgrimage by muslims all around the world to Mekah to perform their devotion to only one God, Allah and usually muslims also will go to Madinah too because Madinah is a Muslim's sacred place too which is called Haramain which generally means only muslims can enter these two places.

The difference between Umrah and Haji is Umrah can do anytime you want but Haji just a particular time only and Haji contain more tasks than Umrah.

Mekah

This time is about 2 to 3 am ....this time consider not too many people and imagine when prayer time which all people coming down

Masjidil Haram in Mekah is a very very very vast area that you have to be alert when you enter and exit the mosque cuz 80% you are about to lost yourself in the mosque if you not alert about this. There are three floors including the ground floor. Here are several tips for you to be all clear started from entering until exiting the mosque.

Makkah Clock Royal Tower
1. Most people especially Malaysian usually coming into Masjidil Haram from this tower's direction either your hotel in this tower or behind this tower. So you have to choose the right gate to enter the mosque easily which the gate's name is King Abdul Aziz Gate.Whatever it is once you enter this gate you have to exit this gate too otherwise you will not find your way to go back to hotel.

2. Dont be too kind to the scammers around you.Who says sacred place doesnt got bad people there are always cunning people who trying to get money from you.If someone say salam to you just relax give salam back to them and if you heard he is telling a story about his hard life dont hear anymore just leave him.He is a scammer.Mostly scammers are from Africa,Pakistan and India side.

3. Dont say bad words if you have difficulties in anything you are doing otherwise you will gain more and more difficulties after that believe me and that is not a myth.If anything happens to you just relax and ask for help from God thats better.

4. Before you going to perform Solat Jemaah dont forget to go toilet first or you will find a big trouble if you are about going to pee when solat. The area is very big plus it is crowded and the toilet at outside so prepare yourself properly.

5. If you see someone or group of people perform solat or umrah in weird way dont triggered just relax. There are not only Malaysian or sunni people in the mosque, shia people also performing their umrah in Masjidil Haram.Example : you could see people licking the kaabah building while crying even hitting their head on the building. Its sad sometime to see that but yeah thats the reality, nowadays there are many types of muslims already either in true of false way.

6. If you want to enter Hijr Ismail, you have to act like a rugby player cuz all people are going to take chance performing their prayer in that place.Dont be too soft and be aware when sujud cuz that time your head tend to be stepped by people. Many people die because of this.Even me also accidentally heading my knee to people's face in Hijr Ismail. In fact yes you will not khusyuk when performing prayer that time but just do your best,God know what you are doing.

7. About Hajarul Aswad if you think you are tough enough to touch the stone just proceed but if not better not to try. This is not like CS counter that you have to queue up when buy anything. You have to remember this place include all people around the world and not only polite people. You could see people are punching each other, fighting each other until their Ihram worn out(naked) and even jumping on another people's back just to go to touch the Hajarul Aswad.I really scared to see that condition cuz that time the people really dont care about others whether you are old woman or kids.

Madinah

Masjidil Nabawi is the Prophet Muhammad's Mosque. This mosque is quite relax little bit cuz shia people dont come here. They go to Saidina Ali Mosque. This mosque is a sacred mosque because Muhammad's Tomb in this mosque.

This mosque is rectangle design so you will not lost if you forget your gate entrance plus Madina is cold little bit which 14 to 20 degree celcius. Its a really good temperature.I love this kind of temperature,no need to wear sweaters and not too hot.

If you want to go perform Solat in Raudhah just wait your turn politely and crowded people thats for sure.Actually in Raudhah you can perform maximum 2 sunat prayers only but if you got chance and the police didnt notice you perform more than 2 prayers just proceed as much as you can.

Crowd condition in Raudhah.Imagine you have to perform solat in this condition.Like I said before just do your best if not khusyuk performing your solat,God knows.
If you want to buy souvenirs Madina is better than Mekah. The price much cheaper and the people who are selling stuffs also good in negotiating and know to speak Malay. The best seller that I love in the world is Arab Madina people.First because they know to speak Malay, can be negotiate to get lower price, good in talking politley.good in humors.

If you want to buy cheap baju kurung or like baju perempuan punya la you can buy at Taif RnR.Their price just 10 Riyal each cloth which Rm10 only. They can sell the cloth cheap because their background almost from deep village places. So 10 Riyal already big enough for them.So why lose your money for buying baju raya at normal boutique which 100 to 200 ringgit even more sometimes.Take the chance to buy there if you go Umrah.

Okay bye Assalamualaikum !

The Truman Show

THE TRUMAN SHOW

source: google images

The Truman Show is a comedy-drama with Jim Carrey as Truman Burbank, as well as Laura Linney, Noah Emmerich, Ed Harris and Natascha McElhone. The film chronicles the life of a man who is unaware that he is living in a constructed reality television show, broadcasted around the clock to billions of people across the globe. Truman becomes suspicious of his perceived reality and embarks on a quest to discover the truth about his life. It was written by Andrew Niccol and directed by Peter Weir.

This film, in my humble opinion is one of the most interesting films of the late 90's. At first glance of the poster, I thought that it would be a standard Jim Carrey comedy flick and with its colorful cinematography and its cheesy music, that was exactly what it was to me on my first viewing when I was around the age of 9. Not that there's anything wrong with that as Carrey is excellent in those types of movies. The Truman Show is not like that though, this movie is actually somewhat dark and eerie and it really makes you think and question reality. This movie can be seen as a modern adaptation of Plato's Allegory of the Cave in the sense that Truman is the prisoner and the cave is represented by the town he's living in and he only knew what he was being fed to believe.

I'm not going to spoil the movie any further for you guys (another way of saying I'm just lazy to keep going) so I really recommend watching it for yourselves. I guarantee you will not be disappointed....or maybe you will be, as movies are subjective after all.

Melbourne Experience

Melbourne,Victoria,Australia.
Hello guys today I'm going to share my experience been in Melbourne Australia for two weeks there. My actual plan going there at that time because I am going celebrate Aidulfitri with my sister and her family for the first week and the second week we started our trip round in Victoria state.

Why I just skip my Aidulfitri experience?Cuz celebrating Aidulfitri there just simple as ABC . It does not same with Malaysian people celebrating their raya in Malaysia.Malaysian in Australia also been used to celebrate their raya simply.Just perform
sunat raya prayer and thats all.Mostly muslims there are Malaysian,Bosnian and Afghan people.

Flinder's Street Station

For me Australia not being the white men country already.Foreigner's population are more than the local people started from students, workers, labour workers and tourists.Mostly foreigners that I saw are Vietnamese,Chinese,Malay,Afghan,Indian(northern side) and Filipino people. Many of them are students.

For their public transport is really damn efficient with their trams and trains. If you lost in Melbourne city dont worry tram will help you out and yeah its free.

Even their public transport is good but yeah their traffic rules also accurate and systematic. You cannot run from the rules if you against them.I guarantee especially Malaysian who always drive recklessly surely you will get fine notice within your one week drive there.Along the road always got cameras that will detect your speed and the fine will increase if your speed increasing after the limit. They also care for pedestrian walking on the street so for Malaysian, inverse your mindset about pedestrian and give way to pedestrian if they cross the road ANYTIME ANYWHERE otherwise you against the rule.Pedestrians doesnt practice tengok kanan tengok kiri already cuz they assume the driver already know the rules so just follow the rules or your pocket donated to white men government.

somewhere in the city
Most famous stuff in Australia surely kangaroos right?
Okay now I will share you my experience with wallabies and kangaroos which in Philip Island.

This wildlife park is unique because there is a woods which there are many of free kangaroos hopping around you and yeah you can feed them anytime you want. The kangaroo food's price just 50 cent one pouch and two pouches just enough for you to feed any kangaroo you met.For me they are very adorable when they are hopping..they did not walk even a single step, all time hopping. Its weird sometimes to see them hopping around but damn cute.

Now lets move to Great Ocean Road come on !

This world famous beach is 5 hours driving from Melbourne City. This beach is really worth it if you go when summer,at this time is 8 to 12 degree celcius so no one wearing shorts or bikinis go to the seawater there. Its really windy and cold. The beach is famous for its rock formation which give a picturesque landscape for tourist took a picture or even shooting a scene in filming.

Lets go back to city I want to share one more thing about city.If you are tired walking around the city, you can have a short rest in St Paul's Cathedral. The condition is calm and relaxing when you staying there including seeing the amazing blend of gothic and victorian architecture.Dont worry about entrance all people can enter and its free as long dont make any noise at all thats enough.

If you want cheap perfume, just go to Chemist shop but wait?you must be wondering is it fake luxury perfume and the answer is no it is original branded luxury perfume.I give you example like Guy Laroche Drakkar Noir perfume in Malaysia the price is RM200 + but at Chemist just 15 AUD which approximately just RM45.Its really cheap though.

And if you want to get cheap winter coats and sweaters just go to Savers shops.Just 10 to 35 AUD rather than you buy in Malaysia which cost 400 to 500 ringgit. For what you are wasting money on a same design and same quality stuff  right?

Brighton Beach

Thats a little bit experiences I have share with you.Generally Australia taught me a lot about new culture and social. You will find a new experience which do not have in your country when you have been there. The best experience is you travel Australia on your own plan and not by packaged tour then you will feel it.

A common park in Melbourne
Thats it thank you and ciao !
