Feeding Soul

We reached Sg. Itik on Friday night and the journey to the house was spectacular. Imagine riding in a van in  dark night through all the mini roads sided by trees and bushes then you can see all the hills from afar by the bright fullmoon. It was quiet and adventurous yet so peaceful. Yes it was one incredible journey we have to admit. Reaching the house, and can't wait for the next morning!

We started the Saturday morning with subuh prayer at surau, the first time meeting with adik-adik and their ustazs. I was amused to see little ones falling asleep during kuliyyah subuh, they are cute and tiny tho. Going thru the day with group activities and games. Mula-mula biasa la adik-adik segan and malu dengan kitorang especially yang remaja. But as we started playing outdoor games where kena sambung barang-barang jadi sampai panjang gila, the fun begins.

We stop playing for a while for tahlil and lunch.

Asked one of the boys "Nanti dah besar nak jadi apa?"

He answered "Nak jadi pemain bola sepak."

Later that night, I asked the other boy "Cita-cita nak jadi apa?"

He answered "Nak jadi pemain Negara."

The answers I never expected to hear but how truly and honest their wishes are.

After Asar, they requested to play bola sepak and so we did. Damn they are talented, flying balls were everywhere. I secretly wondered why are they here but  watching them put so much happiness while playing seems like they got no problems at all. It was the best moment indeed during bola tampar game vs. adik-adik. The evening was so precious that I hope it never ends.

We only wish they take a good care of themselves and may be protected from any unwanted matters. May they are blessed with every little things & happiness they truly deserved and able to find motivation after their sad thoughts. May they stay really strong in every life situation whenever they are at and may their brotherhood kept alive here and after.

Sunday morning, we left. But our memories and prayers stay with them.
