My Hiking Adventure Part 1

Hello everyone! I am Mohammad Shafie from DNS 25 Bravo and this will be my first entry on this blog and definitely my very first experience blogging. I hope you all enjoy this entry and keep supporting my content.

1. Broga Hill, Semenyih, Selangor

This was my first hiking adventure that I had experienced on 2018 after a few months of my SPM. Actually it was a so called reunion trip that was held among my classmate from my previous school. We all were very excited to met each other on this trip because its been awhile since we last met before we separate on the last day of SPM.

This trip were organized by our self and it was a 3 days trip throughout the nature in Semenyih, Kajang. If i'm not mistaken we held this activity to on weekdays to avoid from engaging with a lot of people since the place were always crowded with hikers during weekends.

It was on Tuesday and at that time I was just finished my work at movie theater nearby Kg Baru. I rushed to Kajang by MRT but arrived late around 7 p.m. and the rest of my classmates already went to our homestay nearby. So, I just proceed with the plan on that night that we decided to go for Sungai Lalang hot spring. It was very relaxing with the water which were very soothing as stress reliever. After awhile my classmates had arrived and I was very happy. We entered the hot spring and began to enjoy the situation and have each other to tell story. Before we leave for late night supper, we had our photograph session together.

The next morning we wake up early around 5 a.m. to leave our homestay and set up our equipment for our hiking trip on Broga hill. Actually this was very unforgettable because we experienced went into a car with 9 people in it. We arrived there at the parking lot and have a briefing on safety and how the trail will be. After settled, we started our journey and arrived at the first checkpoint to perform our subuh prayer together.

Then, we continued our journey to the first peak and decided to take some rest and enjoyed the sceneries. It was very magnificent because it was my first time watching the city from a hill. After that we continued to the next and final peak of the Broga hill and fortunately everyone were able to conquered the hill in safe condition. It was very tiring but it was worth it. We were really enjoy at that moment. After a few minute of enjoying the sceneries, we set back to the parking lot and continued to our next destination that would conclude our trip.

The next location was Sungai Tekala Recreational Forest. There we relax with the cold flow of its waterfall and river. Everyone were very anticipating since we were very tired from the hiking trip. The environment was very relaxing with nature and animal sounds echoing as we take our dip in the river. After a few hours in the river and settled with our lunch its time to return to our homestay to packed up everything and went to MRT Kajang for each other to return to their home.

Anyhow even though it was very tiring, it was also the happiest moment because we get to spent our precious time with our dearest friends that appreciated each other during our school time. We separated as we pass by each intended station and say goodbye. We hope we can held up another similar trip to enjoy our friendship together.
