Diwali is also known as Deepawali meaning a row of diyas. The festival is celebrated with great zeal throughout India. It is celebrated each year to commemorate the return of Lord Rama to his kingdom, Ayodhya. A series of rituals are performed to celebrate this festival.It is also celebrated as festival of lights by lighting lamps everywhere at homes, streets, shops, temples, markets, etc.
People shop for new clothes, home decor items and gifts for their loved ones on this festival. The markets are flooded with variety of gift items and sweets around this time. It is a good time for the businessmen. It is also a good time to bond with our near and dear ones. People visit each other around this time and exchange gifts as a part of the celebration.
Fire crackers are also burnt as a part of Diwali celebrations. Large numbers of crackers are burnt on this day each year.Diwali without fire crackers wont be as a Deepavali itself.
People of Hindu religion wait very eagerly for this special festival of Diwali. It is the most important and favorite festival of everyone especially for kids and children of the home.
As it is celebrated my the most of the Hindus,my advice is please be careful when travelling to your relative’s or friend’s house because there would be alot of cars and motorcycles on the road travelling as like how you travel to your friend’s and relative’s house.Other than that, please be careful when playing fire crackers….I know it would be fun and its not a deepavali if we don’t play firecrackers on the that day but remember it can also harm you if you don’t play proper.I think that’s all from…thank you for reading my blog and…..
